Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its exceptional urban and architectural ensemble, this Girondine capital enchants visitors with its elegance, dynamism, and French art de vivre.

A Preserved Architectural Heritage

Bordeaux is a city where every street tells a story. Begin your visit at the Grand Théâtre, an 18th-century neoclassical masterpiece, then head to the Place de la Bourse, a symbol of the Age of Enlightenment in Bordeaux. Don’t miss the Miroir d’eau, the world’s largest reflecting surface, offering a spectacular view of the Garonne riverfront facades. For a deeper dive into history, explore the Saint-Pierre district with its cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, or visit the Saint-André Cathedral and its Pey-Berland Tower, which provides breathtaking views over the city.

A Vibrant Cultural Scene

Bordeaux is also a city deeply committed to culture. The Musée des Beaux-Arts and the CAPC (Museum of Contemporary Art) will delight art lovers, while the Cité du Vin, an interactive museum dedicated to wine, is a must-visit to understand the region’s winemaking soul. Theater and music enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy with the opera, theaters, and numerous concert halls that bring the city to life year-round.
