MAISON GROLEAU
Nestled at the top of a hill, surrounded by its vineyards and protected by its century-old trees, La Maison Groleau is a confidential and preserved place just 35 minutes from the attractive Bordeaux. The winery has been in our family for almost 200 years; a long history that we, Guillaume and Pierre-Louis, continue today with the transformation of the house into a bed and kitchen, while Guillaume's sister carries on the production of award-winning wines on site.
SERENITY
For a relaxing stay we have imagined generous and bright volumes staged by a personal decoration with strong tones ; an eclectic mix of family furniture, pieces found around the world and more contemporary elements. Everything has been thought of to welcome you in a unique place, focused on disconnection, well-being and rest with the desire to share and transmit this beautiful story. At Maison Groleau we are very much into “slow life”, experience and authenticity.

During your stay in the countryside, stroll through the vineyards, relax in the lounge, read a book by the pool or indulge in a well-deserved nap in the shade of the umbrella pine tree. You can also shop some vintage items at Pierre-Louis' flea market. And then, as the sun begins to set, take the time to enjoy an interval of absolute tranquility in the garden tasting the estate's wines and some local tapas.
As proud epicureans, it was obvious to offer you the possibility to sit and share our table to enjoy Guillaume's cuisine. Our table d'hôtes offers authentic, eco-responsible cuisine, inspired by the region and influenced by our years spent in Asia.
If you We also have selected gastronomic products from local and committed artisans to consume on site or to take with you in your luggage.
The house and its grounds obviously lend themselves to the organization of intimate, large or professional private events.

The layout of the house, the care given to the decoration, the fragile objects that make it up, the desire to offer a space of disconnection and serenity, we only can accommodate children from 12 years old.

La Maison Groleau does not accept animals, specially because our cat Chantal is the real owner here.
