THE TABLE

At Maison Groleau, our bed and breakfast near Bordeaux, we firmly believe that gastronomy is a sensory adventure that transcends borders and seasons. Our surprise menu is much more than a simple selection of dishes; it's an invitation to a culinary journey where every bite tells a story. Inspired by our deep roots and enriched by our years spent in Asia, our menu evolves with the seasons, reflecting the richness and diversity of local produce.

Every dish we serve is a celebration of local producers and our vegetable garden, carefully cultivated to provide fresh and delicious ingredients. We are committed to a zero-waste approach, where every element is used creatively and environmentally friendly. This philosophy is reflected not only in our dishes, but also in our commitment to supporting sustainable and responsible agriculture.

The wines, sourced from Guillaume's sister's estate, are carefully selected to complement each dish, creating a perfect harmony of flavors and aromas. Each wine pairing is designed to enhance your culinary experience, allowing you to discover unique and memorable combinations.

 

At Maison Groleau, we don't just serve you a meal; we offer a complete gastronomic experience, where every detail is designed to awaken your senses and nourish your soul. Join us for an unforgettable evening, where food, wine, and ambiance combine to create lasting memories.

Tuesday evening to Saturday evening , by reservation 48 hours in advance. (40€/person + 9€/person for the food and wine pairing option).

 

Menu suggestion:

Starter : Mushroom & egg shoyozuke, green oil

 

Dish : Beef with nori seaweed, soy-roasted butternut squash, butternut pickles, truffle crumble

 

Dessert : Ma Lai Koh, chocolate cardamom cream, orange gel

BREAKFASTS

Highlight of the day, we have planned something to wake you up gently. Whether you like salty or sweet, or both, we offer you local and homemade products to recharge your batteries.

 

Menu suggestion: 

Bread, homemade jams, honey, homemade cake of the day, fresh seasonal fruit, homemade yogurt and homemade granola, cheeses, cold meats etc.

Served from 8:30 a.m. to10:30 a.m., in the dining room, or outside depending on the weather.

QUICK BITES

If you want a snack, a less formal meal than the table d'hôtes, a lunch by the pool, we have thought of you!

​

Depending on the seasons and inspirations, we offer tapas to share, cold cuts boards, home-cooked dishes, to be enjoyed with a nice bottle of family wine. 

​

This is available EVERY DAY from 12noon to 9pm.
